Having been introduced to the woodworking craft at the age of 15, Jim’s passion ever since has always been the art of fine woodworking. After spending several years building residential custom kitchens, Jim spent the next twelve years in the fabrication of high-end architectural cabinetry.
B&G Cabinet is proud to be celebrating over 25 years here on the North Shore. Jim continues to bring a high standard of quality and service to B&G Cabinet and has provided all his clients with superior service and the best products at all levels. Jim has been involved in kitchen and bath design and fabrication for over 40 years.
B&G Cabinet is a local business in Newburyport that has been serving the North Shore for over 30 years. B&G Cabinet started in a small woodworking shop back in 1989 owned by Jim Goulet. Then, in 1995 the operation was moved to Newburyport, Ma. Jim took his 35 years of passion for fine woodworking and turned his craft into a career.
We are now celebrating over 35 years as a successful Design Center and Showroom in the same great location we originally acquired on Low Street Twenty-Five years ago.
Over those years we have expanded our two-level showroom and displays to a wide variety of fine cabinetry products for every space and budget. Currently, we have ten employees made up of six designers and three additional members which make up our support team to help keep the seamless process from design to install going strong.
We are celebrating the retirement of Jean, who dedicated 28 years to our team-nearly from the very beginning of our 30+ year journey. Her contributions, care, and commitment are immeasurable, and her presence has left a lasting mark on our company and everyone who had the privilege of working with her.
