Our History
B&G Cabinet is a local business in Newburyport that has been serving the North Shore for over 25 years. B&G Cabinet started in a small woodworking shop back in 1989 owned by Jim Goulet. Then, in 1995 the operation was moved to Newburyport, Ma. Jim took his 35 years of passion for fine woodworking and turned his craft into a career. We are now celebrating our 25th year as a successful Design Center and Showroom in the same great location we originally acquired on Low Street Twenty-Five years ago. Over those years we have expanded our two-level showroom and displays to a wide variety of fine cabinetry products for every space and budget. Currently, we have nine employees made up of six designers and three additional members which make up our support team to help keep the seamless process from design to install going strong.
